This week E3 came to Los Angeles, and where I work, that means it’s almost like Christmas. All the talk around the office was about Call of Duty, Bioshock and Wii U. Once again, I was out of the loop. As I was talking to one of my coworkers, I felt like a foreign exchange student, stopping him every so often to ask, “What’s E3?” or “What does GTA stand for?” Yes, I am THAT uneducated when it comes to video games.
The one thing I WAS excited about was the new Wii U. For those of you who haven’t heard, Wii U features a controller with a screen on it. You can choose to interact either with the controller screen, your TV or both. Take a look at some of Mahalo’s coverage.
Watch as Nintendo’s president, Satoru Iwata, talk about the new Wii U controller.
My second favorite thing to come out of E3 this year was this spoof video. It’s a pretty funny parody of all the things that E3 stereotypically entails—new games, keynote speakers and yes, even booth babes.
