Sounds like a snarky fortune cookie. Actually, that’s the nugget of wisdom hidden inside this week’s Mahalo viral video. As I’ve mentioned before, I don’t really understand the whole realm of video games (I even had to check with a coworker to make sure Portal 2 was a video game), but I love the people I work with in the Mahalo Video Games department, so here I am once again supporting what they do.

At first, the video reminded me of the Star Wars ride at Disneyland then things got all jumbled. I’m sure if I even knew what Portal 2 was about, I’d appreciate the video a little more, but for now my only take away is the pithy yet in-you-face axiom mentioned above.
In the game of life, I’m definitely more of a “don’t make waves” kind of person. But tomorrow I have to go into the DMV to fight an absurd late fee on my auto registration. I’m going to put this motto into practice. The California Department of Motor Vehicles has given me lemons. I’m NOT going to make lemonade. I’m going to demand that they take back the lemons (and waive my late fee). If the don’t, I’m going to demand to see the manager.
