“A year from now, you will wish you had started today.”
-Karen Lamb
A year from now, what will you had wished you started today? Training for a marathon? Starting yoga? Working on your six-pack abs? Losing weight? Eating healthier?
I finally got around to starting this blog about a week ago, so now my new challenge is training for my first half marathon in March: the San Diego Half Marathon. I’ve run 12 miles continuously before, but never a 13.1-mile race. But I figure that if I don’t start it today, I’ll never start.
On the other hand, think about yourself a year ago. How have you changed, grown, and improved? Knowing you have the strength and perseverance to achieve whatever you set out to do in the past will propel you towards your future goals.
What have you accomplished in the last year and what do you plan to accomplish in the next? It doesn’t need to be January 1st for you to make resolutions. Today is the start of a brand new week! Whatever you want to accomplish in the next week, month, year… start today!
