SPOILER ALERT: "Game of Thrones" in 60 Seconds

Fact: I watch entirely too much TV. In fact, there was a point in college when I had to have a calendar for which shows were on which night so I didn’t forget any of them. Monday: “House,” “How I Met Your Mother,” “Lie to Me,” “The Bachelor” and “Gossip Girl” (don’t you judge me); Tuesday: “Glee;” Wednesday: “Modern Family;” Thursday: “The Office,” “30 Rock,” “Community,” “Big Bang Theory” and “Bones;” Friday: “Fringe;” Saturday: “SNL;” Sunday: “True Blood” and “Desperate Housewives.”

Just writing out that list now makes me exhausted. Granted, not all of those shows were in season at the same time, and Hulu/the internet are God’s gift to us compulsive TV watchers, and my two roommates were cinema majors and also huge TV buffs. But still, that’s a lot of television. And I haven’t even calculated the reruns of “Law and Order: SVU” and “Criminal Minds” into the equation.

“Hi. My name is Rachel, and I’m addicted to telev—No I’m not! I can quit any time I want… I just don’t want to…”

That’s why when I began hearing all this buzz about the show “Game of Thrones,” and how good it was, I tried to drown it out. No way could my TV-watching schedule handle another show. Enter Mahalo’s 60-second recap. Thank the Lord. Now I can talk semi-intelligently about a show I’ve never seen with my friends at parties and you can too! Hooray television!
