I’ve never been much of an artist, so watching one of my coworkers, Ken O’Brien, draw cartoon charcters and superheroes like Green Lantern is more fascinating than informative for me. I’m always astounded that people like Ken can start with a circle and end with a drawing like the one above. As cliche as it sounds, I wouldn’t have believed he drew it unless I had seen it with my own eyes—the man has talent!
Then, this week at work, I stumbled across Ken’s website: Lunch Bag Dad, which he started as a result of the character he would draw on the lunch bags of his two daughters. How cute is that?! He’s done tutuorials on everything from how to draw My Little Pony characters to Powerpuff Girl characters and even SpongeBob SquarePants characters.
